Where They Live

A habitat is more than just a place that wildlife calls home. It’s a space that’s uniquely suited to an animal’s needs through the arrangement of food, water, shelter, and cover. It’s the place that offers appropriate “life range” for young and old alike.

The relationship between habitat and wildlife is truly fundamental. Without habitat, there can be no wildlife, because habitats provide the life-support systems that allow animals to survive and thrive.

This section will provide much more detail about the importance of habitats. Enjoy it from your own habitat.
